A robust mix of technology, media, finance and healthcare facilities makes Dubai a viable and attractive destination for any business.

Dubai is also a world renowned shopping destination hosting the world's only annual shopping festival and home to some of the largest and most luxurious malls in the world. Dubai also plays host to many international sporting events such as the world's richest horse race: the Dubai World Cup, the Dubai Tennis Championship and the Dubai Desert Classic gives sports enthusiasts the opportunity to watch all the world's top players up close.

General Hotel Information
Accommodation in Dubai is of a very high standard, with many of the world's top hotel chains running their hotels in Dubai. The most prestigious of these hotels being the Burj al-Arab, the only seven-star hotel in the world.

Hotel locations
There are a variety of hotels within 5/10 minutes from the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Some of these are hotels located along the beach, some in the business district and 5 star properties and others in the heart of Dubai.

Seasonality
The choice of hotel and rates will depend on the time of the year and the facilities required. The year is divided into two seasons: Winter is considered to extend from October to May, with June to September being the summer months. Most hotels offer lower rates during the summer season.
