CALL FOR PAPERS for the 2012 academic year

Deadline for Submission: 31 February 2012

The seminar provides a forum for works-in-progress that explore topics in the Fashion Eye Wear industry & Optical Care products. We encourage the submission of proposals for seminar papers that examine a wide variety of subjects relating to optical technologies, trends, fashions, manufacturing processes, new materials, lenses, equipment, care products and cultural conceived ideas of new market territories.

We welcome proposals from scholars and industry professionals working in a wide range of academic fields, and are particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches.

The seminar is open to graduate students independent professionals, retailers, distributors and media. To maximize time for discussion, papers are circulated electronically in advance to the pre-registered attendees list. Priority is given to individuals who are at a stage of their presentation, knowledge and research at which they can best profit from discussion.

To propose a paper, please send a one-page proposal, a statement explaining the relationship of the paper to your other work, and a brief C.V. via email to: vision-x@dwtc.com.
